Parmesan Arborio (or white rice)

Even though this recipe only has garlic and green onions from garden, I include it here, because rice makes such a great bed for vegetables! It can be prepared and cooking to the side while you're making the rest of your meal.
Prep Time: 5 Minutes | Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients
4 tbsp butter
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup arborio (or white rice, risotto or orzo)
1 cup water
1 cup milk
½ tsp salt
½ cup parmesan cheese
½ cup chopped green onions (optional for topping)
Directions
Melt butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat
Add garlic and cook until translucent
Stir in your rice and let cook for about a minute
Add water, milk and salt. Stir and bring to a boil
Cover and reduce heat to low for 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and stir in your cheese, and let melt for a few minutes, top with green onion (optional)
