Our plants are different.
We focus on Native Plants and Vegetable Starts - and they get the same love and care that goes into growing our own vegetables. Most big nurseries and big box stores are focused on mass-producing plants. These plants are often shipped over long distances, and worse, kept alive with harsh chemical fertilizers. The varieties offered by these 'plant factories' are often invasive, and harmful to our local ecosystem. When it comes to vegetable starts for your garden - food that you will feed your family - you deserve to know that the plants were started chemical-free and with no stress. See below to learn more about what puts our Native Plants and Vegetable Starts ahead of other nurseries.

Plant Native, Skip the Annuals.
Native plants are those that have been here for thousands of years. They are acclimated to our weather, our soil, and our ecosystem. Native plants are perennial - meaning they come back year after year, unlike annuals. They are also low maintenance. Once established, native plants rarely need watering. Save yourself some work and plant once, for years of beauty.

Nature Thrives on Natives.
Native plants support FAR more pollinators than non-native plants. They provide nectar, pollen, and habitat. Native plants also provide food for birds and wildlife. Did you know? Many native insects specialize - meaning they only eat or reproduce on a few types of plants. Monarch butterflies, for example, have just one host plant - milkweed. This means without it, Monarchs cannot reproduce.
Chemical-Free.
Most of us grow our own gardens because we want to get away from the chemical-laden produce in stores. So why would you buy your starts from a nursery that feeds their plants with chemical fertilizers and sprays pesticides? We use the same organic natural products that we use on our own veggies to feed your starter plants, which gives them a healthier start and leads to a stronger plant.

Top Quality Seeds.
It matters where you get your seed from. Poor seeds lead to a poor lifespan for a plant. If you've ever bought seeds from a big box store and had miserable results, you know what we mean. We source our seeds from professional seed growers. This means our plants start from fully-energized seeds whose "parents" lived a strong healthy life. This gives us guaranteed results - healthier starts, less disease, and stronger production. That means more vegetables, more tomatoes, and more flowers for you.
