Creamy Garlic Parmesean Chicken

This dish a simple one pot recipe and can be modified with different veggies that you have on hand. I typically use it with spinach, but you could also do broccoli, onions or even carrots. This serves great over pasta!

Prep Time: 5 Minutes | Cook Time: 20 Minutes


  • 4 small-medium chicken breasts

  • Salt and pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning (or Oregano)

  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1 cup spinach (optional)


  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet

  3. Add chicken to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the outside is golden and the chicken is cooked through

  4. Remove chicken from the pan, reduce heat to low-medium and add garlic, stir for 30 seconds

  5. Add the cream, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese.  Stir to combine.

  6. Stir in cup of spinach, if desired.  Simmer for another 2-3 minutes

  7. Return chicken to the pan and simmer for another minute then turn off heat.

  8. Spoon sauce over chicken
