Tzatziki Sauce

I love to have fresh tzatziki sauce in the refrigerator over the summer when we have cucumbers coming in. It's great for dipping or serving with kabobs or tacos!

Total Time: 15 Minutes


  • 2 cucumbers, grated (about 1 cup)

  • 1 ½ tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 1 ½ tsp of white vinegar

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (or dried if in a pinch)

  • ¼ tsp salt


  1. I grate my cucumber in our food processor

  2. Place grated cucumbers in a dish towel or nut milk bag and squeeze out the extra moisture.  Transfer to a bowl

  3. Add the lemon juice, garlic, yogurt, vinegar, dill, and salt and mix well

  4. Can serve immediately or refrigerate
