Roasted Radishes

This recipe is a farm share member favorite! When we first started this journey we were not the biggest fans of radishes, until I found out about roasting them. These radishes come out tasting like little red potatoes and they are kid tested and approved. You can also add carrots to this recipe and they go great with the radishes.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes | Cook Time: 30-35 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 2lb radishes (leaves trimmed off and radishes are halved or quartered)

  • 3 Tbsp Olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon of Garlic powder

  • Fresh herbs, chopped (rosemary, thyme or oregano)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

  2. Toss radishes with olive and the spices.  Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet, making sure each radish touches the pan

  3. Roast for about 30 to 35 minutes, until golden and crispy (I like to stick mine with a fork to make sure it's nice and tender)

  4. Season with extra salt and pepper, if needed, to taste
