Quick Green Beans

This green bean recipe is minimal fuss and will saute up quickly for a nice side dish if you're in a hurry.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes | Cook Time: 10 Minutes


  • 1lb of green beans

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 onion chopped (optional)

  • 2 cloves garlic minced (or a tsp of garlic salt)

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • ½ tablespoon of butter

  • Lemon juice (optional)


  1. Add oil to medium heat

  2. Add garlic (if using fresh minced garlic) until fragrant

  3. Add beans, onion, and butter

  4. Sautee

  5. Salt and pepper to taste

  6. Add lemon juice before removing from heat (if using)
