I saw several farm share members making hamburger bowls one week and I had to try it too! These are super simple and easy to put together. The sauce is optional but I would definitely recommend doing. This recipe will make 4 good sized bowls.
Prep Time: 10 Minutes | Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients
Beef
½ large onion, diced
1 tbsp EVOO
1lb ground beef
½ tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Toppings
4 cups romaine (or lettuce of choice)
1 cup cheese (cheddar, goat cheese, colby jack, etc)
4 sliced tomatoes
Pickles
Other burger toppings of choice such as avocado or onions
Burger Sauce
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup of avocado ranch
2 tsps mustard
1 tbs ketchup
½ tsp vinegar
½ tsp paprika
Directions
In a small bowl, whisk together your sauce ingredients and taste and adjust as needed. Refrigerate until ready to use
Dice onion
Oil pan and turn on stove to medium high heat
Add onions and season with a pinch of salt/pepper
Sautee for 2-3 minutes until light brown and starting to become translucent
Add meat to the pan and cook on medium heat
Add seasonings to the beef, breaking it up as it cooks
Cook until beef is browned
Add in the Worcestershire sauce and simmer and 1 minute, remove from stove
Serve by adding your desired amount of meet and then toppings to a bowl
