Crispy Green Beans

Looking for a quick veggie side to go with dinner, this is the perfect recipe to try.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes | Cook Time: 25 Minutes


  • 1-2 lbs. green beans (trim ends and pat dry)

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme

  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 4 tablespoon grated parmesan (or just shake it on until it feels right, my personal parmesan philosophy)


  1. Preheat oven to 425

  2. Grease a large baking sheet

  3. Toss green beans in olive oil to coat and spread out on baking sheet

  4. Season the beans with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme (I go ahead and give another stir here)

  5. Sprinkle panko (you can also go ahead and add the parmesan here, but I like to wait and add it with about ten minutes to spare in cooking)

  6. Bake for 20-25 until green beans are fork tender, serve immediately.

Notes. you can drizzle some balsamic to give it a punch.  The parmesan and panko could also be optional if you're wanting to make it a bit more healthy
