We had guacamole at a restaurant a few weeks ago and I could not stop thinking about it. I've never been a huge fan of guacamole (cheese dip girl here), but this was delicious and I as determined to make it at home. So I did some research and put together this tasty recipe. I omitted cilantro since I'm not a fan, but included it in the ingredients as an optional choice for cilantro enthusiasts.
Total Time: 10 Minutes
Ingredients:
2-3 Avocados
1-2 small tomatoes, diced
1/2 onion, diced
1-2 Jalapenos (optional, diced)
2 tablespoons lime juice
Salt, to taste
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Directions:
Place your tomatoes, onion, jalapenos, cilantro, lime juice and salt in a bowl. Mix
Halve your avocados, remove the pit, and dice. Depending on how "chunky" you want your guacamole, you can also mash to your liking.
Add guacamole to your other ingredients, mix
Taste and adjust salt or lime juice to your preference
